- What is the process for someone to become a delegate who goes to a state convention/caucus?
- Each candidate for CD or AL delegate to the national convention must file a notification of candidacy to the state central committee office by May 31st . The notification must include the presidential candidate favored. Both the CD and AL delegates are voted on at the district conventions and are elected from statewide totals. The national delegates must pledge to support the winner of the state primary.
