Important Dates
- June 12-14 – Republican Party of TX Convention - Houston
- September 1-4 - National GOP Convention, Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN
- September 5 - First day to apply for ballot by mail for general election
- October 6 - Last day to register to vote in order to vote in general election
- October 20 - First day of early voting in general election
- October 28 - Last day ballot by mail request may be received for general election
- October 31 - Last day of early voting in general election
- November 4, 2008 – General Election
