The Ron Paul campaign depends on all of its supporters;
both those who volunteer their time and those who donate. Without their passion
and enthusiasm, we would not be where we are now. We will be featuring a different
supporter each week, highlighting their contributions to the campaign. Please

Robert Burr
Robert Burr is just one of the many folks in Nevada who has worked to ensure his county's Ron Paul delegates were elected to
the Nevada State Republican Convention. Robert worked tirelessly to track down and make sure all of the eligible Ron Paul
Republicans from his county participated in the county convention. He trained all of them on the process of how to become
state delegates to the convention. He also volunteered on the credentials committee for the county Republican Party and
arrived to the convention very early to help check in all of the county delegates. As a result, Ron Paul republicans maximized
their turnout, which resulted in approximately 20% of the state delegates being Ron Paul supporters.
How did you first discover Ron Paul?
I had heard of the name before because of his previous run for president in 1988. However, I only became aware
of the man and his beliefs after seeing him in the debates last fall.
What was it about Ron Paul's message the inspired you?
Dr. Paul impressed me because he was the only candidate who expressed serious concern about America's growing
fiscal problems. The other candidates used the word "security" a lot without explaining how a country can be secure when
it has to borrow hundreds of billions of dollars from China and Arab oil states.
What's your favorite thing about Ron Paul?
I admire the fact that Dr. Paul tells people what he really believes, even if they disagee with him. I certainly do not
agree with everything he has to say, but I respect that he is not simply telling me what I want to hear.
Dr. Paul tells people what he really believes, even if they disagee with him.
Were you ever active in politics before the Ron Paul campaign?
I had voted and sometimes I gave money but I have never volunteered for a campaign before.
You managed to get every single eligible Ron Paul delegate at your county convention to go on to the state
convention. Can you tell us a little about that success?
There were a number of things that worked to our advantage. Our biggest advantage was the dedication and hard
work of every single one of those Ron Paul delegates. They all put in a lot effort and pulled things together. We were
also greatly helped by other Ron Paul groups from different counties who took up the burden of handing out Ron Paul
literature so that our delegates could keep focused on the task at hand. Finally, the biggest advantage we had was that
the county party was putting together a slate of delegates for the the state convention. Our people simply had to sign up
first. I notified every Ron Paul delegate I knew about the slate and encouraged them to try to get onto it. However, even
the Ron Paul delegates I did not have contact with were able to get onto the slate. This demostrated the edge Paul has
with supporters who are willing to go above and beyond what they are asked to.
How would you explain the energy behind the 'Ron Paul Revolution'?
I think it is Dr. Paul's commitment to his principles that endears him to so many of his supporters. It is also helpful
that none of the other candidates are addressing the issues that Paul's supporters care so much about.

Andre de la Vera
To the disappointment of many supporters, Ron Paul finished with only 3% of the vote in Florida’s GOP primary, however there is an important lesson to
be found amidst the vote totals. Andre de la Vera and Ron Bedell signed up as precinct leaders in Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Not only did they
canvass their own precincts by foot and by phone, they canvassed 11 additional precincts in their surrounding area. Ron Paul even came in 2nd place in
a few of the precincts in which they canvassed! ... (
